Job description
Gap Personnel are currently looking for a Trolley Collector for our well established client based in Wednesbury WS10.
In this essential role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers have easy access to carts and trolleys while maintaining the flow and order of the store. Additionally, you will support in regularly checking and replenishing baskets throughout the store.
Shifts: 10:00am - 16:30pm and 14:00pm - 22:30pm available
Pay: £12.21
Key Responsibilities:
Trolley retrieval & Distribution:
- Collect and transport trolleys from the parking lot and surrounding areas to ensure a constant supply is available at store entrances.
- Maintain the trolley collection stations and ensure all carts are in good working condition.
Basket Refilling:
- Regularly check and replenish baskets throughout the store to ensure they are sufficiently stocked for customers.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other members of the store operations team to ensure the smooth functioning of all daily store activities.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to handle physical tasks including heavy lifting.
- Works well in a team environment, contributing to the overall success of the store.
- Must be available to work flexible hours.
Physical Demands:
This role involves continuous movement and requires the ability to lift and carry heavy items. You will be on your feet for extended periods and required to handle tasks both indoors and outdoors, in varying weather conditions.
