About the Role

We’re recruiting on behalf of one of our clients in the Preston area.

They are looking for an experienced Pre-Upholsterer to join their production team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in preparing furniture frames for final upholstery, ensuring every product meets the company’s exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Fit webbing, springs, and foam to wooden frames using hand and power tools
• Apply pre-upholstery materials accurately and securely
• Work from production specifications and job instructions
• Ensure all work meets quality and production targets
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a pre-upholstery or similar furniture production role
• Skilled in using staple guns, cutting tools, and other upholstery tools
• Good mechanical knowledge and strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Commitment to maintaining health, safety, and quality standards
