Cladding Machine Operative

Gap Personnel are currently recruiting for a skilled Cladding Machine Operative to join our client in Walsall WS8.

This is an exciting temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential to secure a permanent position after 3 months.

 

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM  (38 Hours) : From £14.00 per hour 

• Friday: Early finish - lunchtime

 

What You’ll Do:

• Operate and manage cladding machines within a steel manufacturing environment.

• Set and calibrate machines to meet production specifications.

• Continuously monitor machine performance, adjusting settings as needed.

• Safely handle steel materials and components.

• Perform regular quality control checks on finished products.

• Meet production targets while adhering to job specifications.

• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

 

About You:

• You have prior experience working as a Machine Operative in the steel or manufacturing industry.

• You are confident with machinery and have a keen interest in learning new skills.

• You have strong mechanical awareness and attention to detail.

• You can work independently and thrive as part of a team.

• You are reliable, punctual, and prioritize safety in your work.
