Stick Welder

Gap Personnel is currently recruiting for a skilled Stick Welder to join our client in Walsall. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential to secure a permanent position after just 3 months. If you're an experienced Stick Welder looking for long-term stability and career growth, this could be the perfect fit.

 

Working Hours:

• Day Shift Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, with an early finish every Friday

• Competitive pay from £17.50 per hour

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Stick Welding on mild steel components to produce high-quality welds

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to ensure accurate and precise welds

• Completing basic fabrication tasks alongside welding when needed

• Adhering to health and safety protocols at all times

• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to maximize efficiency

 

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Stick Welder

• Experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or engineering environment

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings accurately

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
