Joinery Operator

We have a new client on board who are looking to recruit a Production Operator with Joinery experience to join their already busy team based just outside of Wrexham, on a busy industrial estate

 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for various production tasks, including fabrication and assembly, ensuring that all products meet quality standards. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work with various tools and equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery and semi-automatic saws
• Use of power and hand power tools
• Working from production drawings and diagrams
• Working with speed and accuracy to meet production targets
• Engage in heavy lifting tasks, moving materials and finished products as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and organised work area, following health and safety regulations

Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment is preferred
• Background in joinery is essential due to the nature of their business
• Openness to develop and learn new skills within the manufacturing sector
• A keen eye for details and focus on delivering a quality product
• Able to work as a team
• Good communication skills
• Experience using power tools

 

Hours are Mon-Thur 8am-4.30pm and Fridays finish earlier

 

12 weeks temp to perm for the right candidate

Hourly rate is paid from £12.21 per hour
