Stores Person

My client based in Wrexham is looking for a Stores Person to work in within their busy warehouse

 

• Receive incoming goods, inspect them for damages, and verify their accuracy against purchase orders or delivery notes.
• Update inventory records, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing goods are properly documented.
• Prepare goods for delivery, including packaging, labelling, and arranging transportation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to schedule deliveries and pickups, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods.
• Assist in conducting regular stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
• Organise and maintain the warehouse, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and efficient storage of goods.
• Support the team with general administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing.
• Kitting of works orders to the factory in a timely and organised manner in accordance with the production plan

Experience / Skills - Essential

• Computer literate - Word, Excel, Outlook, and Data Entry
• Communication skills: verbal (including good telephone manner) and written.
• Problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations.
• Experience of working in a similar role would be advantageous.
• Ability to work without close supervision.
• Team player who has the ability to be versatile and use own initiative
