Process Operatives

4on 4off (days/nights)

£27,628.00 per annum  

 

We are proud to be working alongside a longstanding client who is a leading food manufacturer located on the outskirts of Chester in their search for Process Operatives to join them on a permanent basis. Due to increases in business, our client is looking for multiple operatives. The main attribute our client is looking for is a good attitude to work and a desire for career progression. 

 

Performance Objectives 

•                     Test raw materials in an accurate and timely manner, inputting results into the necessary data collection logs.

•                     Notify shift lead or production manager on any non-conformances relating to product specification.

•                     Unload bulk containers containing raw materials in line with operating procedures.

•                     Load finished products and conduct associated quality checks.

•                     Adhere to environmental regulations and best practices during unloading/loading operations, minimising spills and waste.

•                     Conduct through CIP (Cleaning In Progress) tanker cleaning to meet hygiene standards

•                     Proficient in swabbing containers and collecting samples for microbiological analysis.

•                     Swabbing Containers and entering the correct information on the lab database.

•                     Undertake necessary training to be HACCP and CCP aware and their application within the industry.

•                     Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock levels for all raw materials and finished goods.

•                     Actively participate in identifying areas for improvement and contribute to projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

•                     Work towards achieving department key performance indicators and objectives.

•                     Adhere to company policies and procedures, always ensuring compliance.

 

Person Specification

•                     Previous experience in a food manufacturing role is desired but not required.

•                     Due to location, own transport is essential.

•                     Ambitious and driven individual.

•                     Willingness to learn and develop is KEY.

 

Working Hours

Operating on a 4-on/4-off (days & nights) shift pattern which are 12-hour shifts.

Salary

Starting salary of £27,628 with potential to earn up to £38,000.
