Machine Minder

Gap Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with long standing client in their search for multiple Machine Minders located in Wrexham. This is a permanent role working 40 hours per week.

 

THE ROLE

Duties include:

• ·         Operate designated machines in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• ·         Ensure machines run at optimal efficiency and meet daily/shift production targets.
• ·         Set up machines for production, completing pre-start checks and relevant paperwork.
• ·         Ensure correct programs, films, and date codes are used for each product run.
• ·         Maintain a clean and safe work area, including machinery, in line with hygiene and safety protocols.
• ·         Undertake basic strip down of machine (and re-assemble) for scheduled cleans 
• ·         Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• ·         Clean machinery to the correct standard before production and during changeovers.

 

Requirements:

• ·              Previous food manufacturing experience is required.
• ·              Basic mechanical knowledge desirable
• ·              Understanding of HACCP, GMP, and hygiene standards
• ·              Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping
• ·              Training in food safety and health & safety procedures
• ·              Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

      

Hours of work & Pay rate:

6am – 2pm : £14.99 ph including shift allowance

2pm – 10pm : £16.04 ph including shift allowance

10pm – 6am = £17.09 including shift allowance
