Job description

gap personnel are currently recruiting for a administrator to join their client based in Oldbury on a temp to Perm basis 

The role is to provide operational and administrative support to the depot manager ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the depot, maintenance systems and back office. Coordination of management information required to monitor and improve operational performance. Utilising and managing the CMMS, an internal maintenance planning tool.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage efficiently and cost effectively depot maintenance systems
  • Ensure well planned maintenance tasks that support business requirements by managing and monitoring planned productive maintenance tasks
  • Manage purchasing activity related to maintenance and wear parts correctly and accurately in line with EMR procedures and policies
  • Support  operational managers with general administration
  • Act as main point of contact for contractors and suppliers.  Build and maintain relationships with these and coordinate activity on site
  • Planning and forecasting repairs, defect resolution and equipment orders
  • Co-ordination of key reports and databases such as spare parts stocks and downtime reports
  • Support root cause analysis for lost time in production and throughput losses. Support development of solutions to reduce downtime (such as improved PPMs and equipment improvement)
  • Record and communicate minutes and actions as and when required in meetings

About you:

  • Administrative experience is essential
  • Maintenance asset management experience is desirable but must demonstrate a good aptitude for understanding plant, equipment and processes
  • IT literate with the ability to think analytically and solve problems
  • Office 365 experience essential (including Excel)
  • MS Dynamics 365 experience is desirable
  • High level of oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively to the operational, maintenance departments and external contractors
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately, while handling multiple tasks
