Our prestigious client are seeking to recruit an experienced Administrator to join our established team based at their offices based in Nottingham. As a business they are a passionate about providing fully integrated and innovative packaging solutions augmented by outstanding customer service.

Shift pattern:

Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm

Salary: k25/year

The Sales Administrator Role  
Sales Administration is a key part of what we do. This fast-paced, multi-faceted role will see you handling inbound customer enquiries and processing sales orders. This position is wholly office based and focussed upon customer engagement. You will be focussed on understanding customer needs, to ensure opportunities are realised and first class service is provided at all times. On this occasion we are seeking to hire someone on a full time basis, working Monday to Friday. To begin with, you will be learning the business and administrative processes, however in time, we are looking for someone to take ownership of their own customer accounts, building relationships and cross-selling.

 

Sales Administrator Key Duties

  • Dealing with incoming customer queries and providing advice & solutions, forwarding quotations to customers.
  • Placing sales orders on the system
  • Inputting pro forma orders
  • Processing payment on pro-forma sales invoices
  • Processing customer sample requests
  • Undertaking outbound activity to help identify and target new customers
  • Working closely with Stock Control and Transport in relation to orders/deliveries
  • Regular use of internal CRM system

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a sales administrator, sales support, or similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales databases is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
