Job description
Role: Assembly operator
Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm
Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Location: Ammanford
About the Role:
This position supports a large laminator room within a busy manufacturing site. You’ll play a key role in the production process, assembling components and maintaining high operational standards across the production area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembling components and products to required standards
- Following work instructions, drawings, and production schedules
- Using hand tools and basic equipment safely
- Carrying out visual quality checks
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Adhering to health & safety procedures at all times
- Supporting the production team with additional tasks when required
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience (preferred but not essential)
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
- Good teamwork and communication skills
