Job description
Assembler – Manufacturing Environment
Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm
Days: Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Location: Ammanford
About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on Assembler to join a busy manufacturing team. You’ll be responsible for assembling components, supporting production processes, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Assembling components and materials according to work instructions
• Operating basic machinery and tools safely
• Carrying out visual quality checks on finished products
• Ensuring products meet required specifications before moving to the next stage
• Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
• Following production schedules and meeting daily targets
• Reporting any defects, issues, or equipment concerns to supervisors
• Working collaboratively with the wider production team
What We’re Looking For
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience (preferred but not essential)
• Comfortable working around machinery in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
• Understanding of basic health & safety and PPE requirements
