Food production Operative
Location: Avonmouth, BS11
Hours: Monday to Friday 3pm-00:30am
Pay Rate: £13.25ph from 3pm to 10pm and £13.83ph from 10pm-00:30am
gap personnel (operating as an employment business) is hiring 5 food production operatives to work in a fast food manufacturing environment, supplying the UK’s top supermarkets from Avonmouth, BS11. If you’re reliable, hardworking, and thrive in a fast-paced setting, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Slicing ham and cooked chicken using machines
- Packing and picking products
- Following hygiene and food safety rules
- Cleaning down work areas and setting up for the next job
- Maintaining safety & hygiene in a chilled environment (around 4°C).
- Teamwork! – Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.

- Fast-paced worker – Comfortable in a busy environment.
- Previous food production experience preferred but not essential.
