gap personnel Bristol are operating as an employment business and currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver for our client based in Filton, Bristol, BS34. As a Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver, you will join a team where you will become a key and valued member providing support to key operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive and store goods accurately in the correct locations within the warehouse/yard.
• Prepare customer orders according to sales requirements and load them onto vehicles.
• Sign for deliveries, report stock breakages, and maintain accurate stock records.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
• Carry out daily checks and maintain forklifts and other mechanical handling equipment in a safe working condition.
• Promote a “Everyone Safe, Every Day,” culture by ensuring the safety of yourself and colleagues.
• Build positive relationships with customers at the collection and returns point.
• Be flexible and assist with stocktaking and overtime as required.

The Candidate:

• A valid Forklift Licence.
• Good data accuracy, numeracy, and basic IT skills.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or yard role is advantageous.
• A flexible and adaptable approach with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• A customer-oriented mindset and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
