Hours: Monday to Thursday 6.00am-4.00pm

Hourly rate: up to £28,080.00 per annum DOE

As a Casemaker Machine Operator, you will be setting up, operating, and maintaining machines to manufacture high-quality product, packaging safely, efficiently, and in accordance with customer specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate machinery to meet production requirements.
• Read and interpret job specifications, production orders, and technical drawings.
• Adjust machine settings to achieve correct print registration, slotting, creasing, folding, gluing, and stacking.
• Carry out first-off, in-process, and final quality inspections to ensure products meet customer and company standards.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain optimum production efficiency.
• Minimise waste, downtime, and machine stoppages through effective operation and problem-solving.
• Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventative maintenance.
• Complete production records, quality documentation, and downtime reports accurately.
• Ensure materials and finished products are handled correctly to prevent damage.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.

The Candidate:

• Previous experience operating a TCY Box Casemaker or similar corrugated converting equipment is preferred.
• Good understanding of corrugated board manufacturing and packaging processes.
• Ability to read production specifications and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Basic computer literacy for production reporting where required.
