Job description
Join our clients team and help keep our community clean and welcoming! As a Community Cleanliness Operative, you’ll drive an electric council vehicle to parks and public spaces, empty litter bins, and ensure these areas remain tidy and safe for everyone.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive designated routes across parks and public spaces.
- Empty litter bins and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Report damaged bins, hazards, or maintenance issues.
- Work independently while following health and safety guidelines.
- Provide a friendly and professional service when interacting with the public.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks.
- Good time management and reliability.
- Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
