An exciting on-going opportunity has become available for a Loading Shovel/ FLT Driver to work with our client, who is a Cardboard and Waste Paper Recycling specialist based in Sandycroft area.
As a Loading Shovel Driver you will be responsible for loading and unloading of waste materials in the yards area
Pay & Hours Of Work:
£13.20 per hour
Monday to Friday working 8 to 12 hour shifts depending on requirements.
10pm-6am / 6pm-6am
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading of waste materials in the yards area and work as part of a team.
Operation of fixed and mobile plant according to the training given, and within site rules.
To Supervise shift members to process material in a safe efficient manner.
To carry out any other such reasonable job-related tasks as the company may require you to undertake from time to time.
To share responsibility for health and safety of the team.
To monitor other personnel working at or visiting the depot and to ensure that they are complying with site rules, and to promptly report breaches.
Carry out a range of manual handling duties.
Carry out physical checks on mobile plant.
Requirements:
Experience in the wastepaper/recycling industry
Previous Shovel Driving Experience
Flexibility
You might be required to work overtime so flexibility is appreciated
Candidate’s must have good attitude to work and must demonstrate an excellent time keeping and attendance record

As a Quality Picker, you will be responsible for picking various materials from a moving conveyor belt and placing in the appropriate chute for further processing.
Pay & Hours of work
£10.42 Per Hour
Afternoons: Monday – Friday 2pm-10pm
OR
Nights: Monday – Friday 10pm-6am

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Picking at defined rates selective materials from a moving conveyor
Ensuring quality and recovery rates are maximised
Housekeeping of the cabins and the recycling facility in general
General duties throughout the recycling facility
Following all site health and safety rules
