Production Operative

Gap personnel who operate as an employment business are recruiting for 4 Production Operatives, detailed in the below:

Role: Production Operative 

Job Term: Ongoing work with permanent opportunities for the right candidates

Location: Buxton, SK17

Working hours: Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 rotational shift 

Pay: Between £12.17 - £12.32

Job Description: The chosen candidate would be responsible for the below: 

• Accurately pick and assemble orders using the processes and systems used within the business.
• Work within our health and safety guidelines, adhering to the Food Safety and Quality Management System at all times.
• Communicate with Team Manager and Warehouse Administration Team to highlight issues and problems and be able to suggest solutions.
• Move and store products correctly to prevent damage.
• Assemble and wrap pallets
• Pick orders accurately from the systems and locations using the picking guns
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Putting product away in the correct location
• Working with an understanding of the importance of date codes and rotation of products
• Complete quality checks and paperwork accurately in line with your area of work
• Be aware of temperature control in all food processing and handling areas.
• Be able to recognise and understand how to handle different products
• Maintain a clean and tidy workspace in line with our procedures

Required Experience: Experience not essential as all training will be provided. 

The role is due to start immediately for the successful candidate.
