Job Title: Cleaner

Location: Southend on Sea

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: £12.30 per hour(weekly pay)

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaner to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across all areas, including offices, kitchenettes, factory floors, and storerooms. This role involves adhering to strict cleaning schedules, ensuring all internal and external waste bins are emptied daily, and maintaining the cleanliness of gangway floors and external areas.

Key responsibilities include:

• Regularly cleaning windows, doors, and machine screens.
• Emptying cardboard storage containers into the baler.
• Replenishing stocks of soaps and paper products.
• Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety policies, including the proper use of cleaning products.
• Covering duties during the absence of other cleaners to maintain cleanliness.
• Reporting any Health and Safety concerns to the Facilities Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Willingness to undertake training as required.
• Ability to cover duties during absences and adapt to changing priorities.

Contract Type: Temporary (3 months) with the possibility of extension or permanent contract for the right candidate.
