gap personnel Gloucester, are currently recruiting for 1 Purchasing Administrator for a manufacturing site based in Gloucester, Gloucestershire. The site is a global manufacturer specialising in polymer resins to final plastics applications.

The successful candidate will report to the shift coordinator and work as part of a team to ensure our high-quality standards are maintained and that all stock is booked in correctly.

About the role:

  • Process purchase requisitions and raise purchase orders using the company Oracle ERP system
  • Coordination of goods inwards stock checking and goods receiving
  • Working with production and other departments to identify purchasing requirements and solutions
  • Liaising with suppliers for quotations and to ensure delivery schedules are adhered to

About you:

  • Minimum 1 year experience within similar role
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Able to work in fast phase environment
  • Able to work within a small team or on your own
  • Must be organised and have good customer service skills

Working Hours and Pay Rate:

  • Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:00
  • 1 hour lunch break
  • £10ph

The site is easily accessible via public transport for start and finish times.
