We are looking for 2X Machine Operator's for our established client on a temporary - ongoing basis. Based in Laindon. You will be working with a small team to ensure machine operates efficiently.

Pay rate:

£10.50 per hour

Working hours:

Monday – Friday: 6am – 1pm 

Main duties include, but not limited to:

• Feeding very light materials onto the machine.
• Quality checking goods start and finish of process.

Requirements:

• Good written and verbal English skills.
• Previous experience desired.
• Ability to work at pace.

Important information:

• The length of this project is 3-4 months and therefore looking for candidates who can commit to full time Monday - Friday
• Potential of being offered a permanent position to the right candidate after 12 weeks.
• Own transport due to location.

You will be preparing metal pre paint work and polishing to a high standard, working with a team in the paint department.

Main duties are includes, but are not limited to:

• General knowledge of Health & Safety at work and in line with company policy.
• Understanding the orders and it's requirements and identifying the parts location.
• Adding the extra care to the painted parts;
• Understand internal documentation for daily tasks, inspections sheets 
• Operating following QC specifications, requirements and standards.
• Knowledge of materials available to assist in polishing

Gap Personnel are pleased to be working on this fantastic opportunity with a new business in the Blenheim area NG6 in Nottingham for an experienced Food Production Supervisor. 

The role is working in a start-up business, so you will be leading from the front, starting before the general production staff are employed and getting to know the business first hand before rolling out your knowledge and experience to your team. The ideal candidate will be proactive and assist in setting up the new business, whether that be dealing with deliveries or helping get the machinery and equipment up and running. 

We are looking for a candidate with the following experience:-

• Food hygiene certificate level 2 or above 
• Experience with running production in a food environment
• Ideally and FLT license (but not essential) 
• A very proactive outlook, happy to pitch in with new business demands

The job role will involve:-

Pay rate:

• 28K – 35K per annum (depending on experience)

Working hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 8am – 5pm
• Friday: 07:30am – 2pm

Main duties include, but not limited to:

• Compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, ISO 14001: 2004
• Responsible for the fire risk assessment
• Dealing with the accreditation bodies
• Maintaining the H&S and E management system, COSHH and risk assessment database
• Tracking and tracing the accidents and trainings
