7.15-17.00 -Monday to Thursday  (off every Friday,Saturday,Sunday)

The role will involve providing admin support to our departments including HR, accounts and Health and Safety.

 Duties will include:

• Collating wages for our hourly paid employees on a weekly basis in a timely manner using in house systems
• Using templates to send letters to employees
• Completing paperwork with new employees
• Logging and monitoring holidays for all employees
• Support with Building Maintenance, such as arranging visits from external companies to conduct testing and surveys where necessary
• Full support of the purchasing role, including raising Purchase Orders using in house systems and maintaining custom spreadsheets.
• General admin duties including departmental document control

 Person specification / Requirements:

• Strong admin background
• Experience of working in a HR role would be beneficial
• Good computer skills with the ability to update systems accurately and efficiently
• Be flexible in terms of duties

As a Machine Operator you will be expected to operate injection moulding machines.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Pen-y-Fan Industrial Estate, Blackwood

Pay Rate: £10 per hour and a £45 weekly attendance allowance.

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Duties:

• Inspection and packaging of various plastic goods.
• A high level of concentration to ensure consistency and fault monitoring.
• If required, machines could be operated on a semi-automatic basis.
• Manual handling to include, stacking pallets, wrapping and moving pallets on pallet trolleys.
• Some products may require the use of a cleaning solvent to clean mouldings.
• Responsible for running more than one machine (when trained)

Ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working in factory environment or a similar role.
• Own transport due to location.

Basic Working Hours & Benefits:

• 12h shifts, 4 on 4 off – 2 days and 2 nights.
• First 4 – 6 weeks will be worked on day shift only due to training.
