As a Production operator you will be expected to support in all areas of production from loading machines to packing finished product.

Duties:

• Loading machines with product or packaging
• Quality checking finished product
• Packing finished product
• Manual handling to include, stacking pallets, wrapping and moving pallets on pallet trolleys.

Ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working in factory environment or a similar role.

Available shift patterns & Benefits:

• Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm alternating 2pm - 10pm (Full time)
• Monday to Friday 6am - 2.30pm or until the job is finished (Full time)
• 7 days across 2 weeks shift patter, 6am - 6pm (Full time)
• 7 days across 2 weeks shift patter, 6pm - 6am (Full time)
• Monday and Tuesday 6am - 6pm (Part time)

As a Auto Insert Operator you will be expected to run the machine as well as complete admin for production needs.

Duties:

• Operate Axial/ Radial machine’s to achieve good quality & productivity.
• Kit and de-kit as required by the department Supervisor.
• Manually inspect PCBs to ensure they meet the required quality standard.
• Serialise pcb’s and update the relevant databases with correct information.
• Ensure full traceability of tray unit material from data input via FujiTrax software.
• Ability to understand SWP’s
• Print and affix labels to PCB’s
• Program and operate the 3D printer
• Organise and monitor material, using FujiTrax software.
• Engage in cross training on other A.I Machinery if required.
• Adhere to all ESD procedures.
• Achieve and maintain 5s housekeeping for area.
• Any other duties deemed necessary

Ideal candidate will have:

• Good numeracy and literacy skills (essential)
• Full Understanding of Axial & Radial Processes (essential)
• IPC Trained (desirable)
• PC literate – Microsoft Access/Excel (desirable)
• Resistor colour code competent (desirable)

Available shift patterns & Benefits:

• 8am until 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am until 1pm Friday.

 About the role:

• Operating of finishing equipment producing finished labels in compliance with company operating procedures.
• Ensure machinery runs at maximum output, bearing in mind quality, machinery limitations and health and safety.
• Adopt a “pitstop” mentality to reduce change over times, fully utilize and organise press assistants and co-operate with staggered break times to increase runt time against downtime.
• Proactively manage presses to achieve the best quality levels ensuring that all paperwork is completed and up to date and ensures traceability.
• Ensure maximum material utilization and a reduction of wastage of all materials including inks.
• Ensure machine is left in a safe manner for your shift opposite and any issues communicated clearly.
• Co-operation with all company systems including health and safety, ISO9001, BRC accreditations and all paperwork systems.
• Detail all press specifications and technical details which are required to produce jobs
• Co-operate and participate in continual improvements to the press and wider company environment.
• Carry out general duties which may include packing, sheeting and any other duties that may be required.
