Gap Personnel Group, operating as an employment business, are currently looking to recruit several Warehouse Operatives for one our well-established client based in Chorley. This position is a physically demanding role. The ideal candidate will have a good attitude to work. 

Overview

Our client is looking for people to work within their warehouse department, loading and unloading, checking stock, labelling stock, moving stock around the warehouse and general warehouse duties. 

Temporary to Permanent Position.

Shift Pattern & Hourly Rates

£10.20ph - 6am-6pm

£11.20ph - 6pm-6am

Monday - Friday 6-2 & 2-10 rotating weekly 

Job Type

Positions initially offer temporary/ongoing placements. Permanent opportunities may be offered following completion of 12 weeks; permanent opportunities are subject to the client’s requirements.

Warehouse operatives / FLT Drivers wanted in Chorley!

Warehouse operative role will include general warehouse duties, order picking, scanning, packing.

FLT driver role will include loading and unloading trailers, moving stock around the warehouse into racking locations, picking, outdoor duties.

Contract: temporary to permanent

Shifts and pay:

• Monday to Friday (8am-4pm) - £9.80 per hour
• Monday to Thursday (8pm-6am) - £12.41 per hour including shift allowance
• Monday to Friday (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm rotating every 2 weeks) - £11.07 per hour including shift allowance

Job role: Making doughnut boxes, icing doughnuts; keeping areas clean and tidy; sanitation room and operating the traywash. 

You will be required to work either Sunday to Thursday rota or Tuesday to Saturday rota. 

Shifts are 8.5 hours with 30 minutes break- 5 shifts per week.

Roles are temporary to start but many staff are given permanent contracts after 12 weeks.

The role requires you to use your FLT Counterbalance skills to load, unload stock around the warehouse. You will need a valid in-date FLT counterbalance license to apply.

The role is with a view to the candidate being placed onto a permanent contract within 12 weeks.
