Pay & Hours of Work

  • Monday to Friday working rotating shifts of 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm
  • £12.72 per hour 

Responsibilities

  • Preparing solutions and operating machinery to coat beads
  • Following written procedures accurately and to complete documentation in a timely and accurate manner
  • Excellent level of attention to detail
  • Some calibration, maintenance and cleaning of equipment is required

 

Essential Skills

  • Able to work to deadlines to ensure deadlines are met
  • Happy to work within a small team environment

Performance Objectives

  • Responsible for selling our companies range of flexible packaging solutions to business customers.
  • Developing positive relationships to get new customers on board, you will strive to meet agreed sales and margin targets.
  • You will negotiate the terms of a contract and effectively close sales before passing the client across to the appropriate internal team.
  • Combining internal telephone sales with external field sales, you will engage with prospective clients, handling queries and providing quotes.
  • You’ll also visit new and existing customers, demonstrating and presenting products.
  • Carry out market research, identifying trends and new market segments.
  • Keep accurate records of customer details.
  • Participate in sales meetings.
  • Attend trade exhibitions, meetings and conferences.
  • Provide holiday cover for the Sales Director.

  • Operating of finishing equipment producing finished labels in compliance with company operating procedures.
  • Ensure machinery runs at maximum output, bearing in mind quality, machinery limitations and health and safety.
  • Adopt a “pitstop” mentality to reduce change over times, fully utilize and organise press assistants and co-operate with staggered break times to increase runt time against downtime.
