Pay Rate: £12p/h, raising to £13p/h

gap-personnel are currently recruiting for a perm role of Production and Machine Operatives for one of the multinational companies in Stonehouse. They are leading distributor for food manufactures around the globe, and recently moved to the area GL10.
As a Production and Machine Operative you would need to be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in working within production area, and have good understanding of English. Machine operating knowledge is also required for this role. The right candidate will be offered perm role immediately.
Main Duties and responsibilities:
- Responsibility for running the production line
- Quality and weight check of the product
- Packing products into boxes / containers
- End of line packing / preparing products for palletising
- Feeding raw materials into the machines and operating them during manufacturing
- Informing supervisors of faulty machinery and any damages or other production issues
- Making sure that Food Safety and Food Quality is adhered all the times, as well as customer requirements outages, and be able to identify and understand their requirements
- Any other ADHOC tasks required by leadership
Working shifts and hours
- Monday – Thursday rotational shift 6am – 4pm, 2pm - midnight ( until mid of June )
- From mid of June Monday – Thursday 6am – 6pm, 6pm – 6am ( rotational ) , early finish on Thursday night at midnight
- No weekend working

Our client is looking for machine / warehouse operatives to join the team in fast-paced production department.

Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or installation of timber, aluminium or PVCu products would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.

Shift: 7.30am-4pm – Monday to Friday
Pay: £10.50 per hour
Duties will include but are not limited to operating timber machine, using hand / power tools, operating CNC machines, assembling, picking and packing, loading and unloading vehicles.
Heavy lifting will be involved, so candidates must be physically fit!
Successful candidate will need to have excellent attention to details, good level of numeracy, exceptional time keeping and attendance, solid work history and ideally previous experience in similar environment.
