Hours: Monday – Thursday, 05.45am to 2.15pm, Friday 05.45am to 1.15pm, 39 hours per week
Hourly Rate: £10.90ph, Overtime @ £16.35ph
Role Type: Temporary to Permanent
gap personnel are recruiting for a Tray Wash Operative based in Crediton, with immediate start. The company is offering temp to perm opportunities to the right candidates.
As a Tray Wash Operative you will join a team that specialise in pharmaceutical products and distribute throughout the UK. Although previous experience is desired, it isn’t essential as you will be provided with full and extensive training. The site has multiple departments where you can find a role that suits you.
Job Responsibilities:
- Loading trays by hand onto a conveyor
- Loading the industrial washer
- Jet washing trays
- Sorting stock
- Candidates must be able to work on their own
Additional Information:
- Full Training will be provided, though production experience is beneficial
- PPE provided
- Applicants must be physically fit as some heavy lifting is involved
- Applicants must be 18 or over due to the site health and safety requirements

Responsibilities
- To ensure packing lines are run efficiently to ensure daily targets are met.
- Effective supervision of tool changeovers with minimum disruption.
- Supervision of staff and identify any areas of training required.
- Ensure all relevant batch and quality paperwork is completed to a high standard.
- Ensure all health and safety policies are followed by staff under your supervision.
Skills Required
- Must have previous supervisory experience gained within a manufacturing/packing environment
