gap personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently looking for Production Operatives to join a busy team in a well-established client based in Pencoed, Bridgend.
Our client is a busy manufacturing company and as such, they are looking to add new members of staff to their team.
Contract: Temporary On Going
Shifts: Monday-Friday
1-week training Paid at £10.42 per hour (all rates are paid in accordance to National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage)
After the Training is complete you will be moving onto shifts – 7am-3pm/3pm-11pm-11pm-7am rotating each week. You will be required to work all of these shifts.
Salary: £10.42 - £12.50 per hour (depending on shifts)
Your duties will include but not be subjected to:
-Working on the Production line, assembling electrical items
-Operate production equipment and carry out manual operations according to procedures.
-Quality Checking
-Unpacking and arranging products
-Ensure all health & Safety requirements are adhered to in the working environment
-Reporting any issues to the supervisor on site
-Perform any other work-related duties that are assigned
-Maintaining good daily productivity and meeting targets
Experience / Skills required:
-Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is advantageous, as is soldering experience, but not essential.
-You will have a can-do attitude and be a really strong team player
-You will need your own transport due to the hours of work and due to where the company is situated.
-Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable
-Flexibility to work all rotating shifts
Full training will be provided.
