gap personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently working on roles for our client based in the Tipton. They are looking for Bystronic Laser Setter Operators to join their team immediately on a temporary basis with the view to become permanent for the right candidates.
Pay & Hours of Work
Pay:
£13.35 p/h + £60 shift allowance
Shift Monday to Friday:
22:00 – 6:00
Responsibilities
- To ensure the laser if running to its optimum at all times, ensuring maximum output whilst keeping a high standard of quality.
- To keep the production area clean, safe and tidy at all times.
- Ensure that the correct quantity and quality of parts are supplied.
- As required, with the auditors, conduct the first off, mid and last off inspections and ensure all scrap procedures are followed.
- To follow internal paperwork procedures.
- Detailing shop floor materials and stock levels both for full size sheets and off-cut remnants.
- Communicate material requirements to Team Leaders.
- Ensure that proper inspections are done as required.
- Approach the team leader with any immediate concerns or suggestions for departmental improvement.
- Understand and adhere to Quality Management System.
- Promote quality control and zero defect mentality.
- Undertake departmental housekeeping as required and maintain to 5C standard.
- Any other duties as may be reasonably be required to commensurate with the role.
Skills Required
- Setting and Operating 6K and 4.4K Bystronic
- Manufacturing experience
- Flexibility regards to the shifts you complete is required
