Role: Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator / Welder
Location: Newcastle -Under- Lyme
Job Term: Temporary ongoing with permanent opportunities for the successful applicants.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am – 4:30pm; Friday 8am – 3:30pm
Pay: £13-£14p/h (dependent on experience)

The Job
- To undertake all types of fabrication / welding
- Competent in the use of measuring equipment, fabrication equipment including guillotine, break press, rollers etc.
- Ensure required specifications are met
- Work carried out safely and in accordance with HSE guidelines
- Understand and follow CAD drawings
Working in a fast-paced environment, duties will include:
Skills/Experience
- Welding and fabricating in an engineering environment
- Enthusiastic & flexible, self-managed, motivated, and hardworking.
- Able to work accurately & efficiently with attention to detail
- Good people skills and able to liaise with other departments & colleagues
- Work effectively to complete the job without putting the quality at risk

Our client is looking for machine / warehouse operatives to join the team in fast-paced production department.

Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or installation of timber, aluminium or PVCu products would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
Temporary to permanent role!
Shift: 7.30am-4pm – Monday to Friday
Pay: £10.50 per hour
Duties will include but are not limited to operating timber machine, using hand / power tools, operating CNC machines, assembling, picking and packing, loading and unloading vehicles.
Heavy lifting will be involved, so candidates must be physically fit!
Successful candidate will need to have excellent attention to details, good level of numeracy, exceptional time keeping and attendance, solid work history and ideally previous experience in similar environment.
