Job Title: Food Industry Hygiene Operative
Location: Stonehouse, GL10
Pay Rate: £12p/h, raising to £13p/h
Contract: Permanent
gap-personnel are currently recruiting for a perm role of Hygiene Operative, for one of the multinational companies in Stonehouse. They are leading distributor for food manufactures around the globe, and recently moved to the area GL10.
As a Hygiene Operative you would need to be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in working in similar role in food industry. Good written and spoken English is required for this role.
Main Duties and responsibilities:
· Cleaning and disinfecting on the production floor and around the facility, including (but not limited to): Laboratories and Chemical Storage and Transport Corridor
· Ensure that the intermediate disinfection during production is carried out and documented according to schedule. This includes: Line disinfection, and disinfection all conveyors ( Conveyor from Casting Line to Wrapper )
· Re-filling of disinfectant containers
· Filling of paper dispenser and other consumables
· Making sure that Food Safety and Food Quality is adhered all the times, as well as customer requirements outages, and be able to identify and understand their requirements
· Any other ADHOC tasks required by leadership
Working shifts and hours
- Monday – Thursday 6am – 6pm, 6pm – 6am ( rotational ) , early finish on Thursday night at midnight
- No weekend working
Successful candidate will be pro-active individual one with a ‘can do’ approach for work. Must be able to work under the pressure of time, and be able to work across variety of environments. Must have a good eye for detail. Needs to have good awareness of hygiene in theory and practice. There will be an interview process for this role.

Our client is a leading provider in construction materials testing that maintains the highest standards of excellence and customer care. We are currently recruiting for a Materials Testing Technician to join their team in Bangor on a temporary to permanent basis.
Pay & Working hours
- £10.50-£11.05 per hour
- 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday
Overtime:
- Mon-Sat OT at £14.50 per hour
- Sun OT at £18.50 per hour
Key activities will include:
- Carrying out laboratory testing to high standards of quality, safety and efficiency
- Ensure that records are kept and filed correctly to satisfy the requirements of the laboratory management system
- Checking, cleaning and maintaining test equipment
