Mechanical Assembler required for a specialist and growing engineering company who can offer training and development opportunities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with a global reputation who provide services to the aircraft industry.
The role will suit candidates from a Mechanical background with assembly experience in any industry. You will need to be able to read engineering drawings. Additional experience with electrics, machine tools would be advantageous.
The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling the company’s products at their site based in Cinderford, working from engineering drawings and working with wiring, cabling also. You will carry out final checks.

The Mechanical Assembler Role:
- Mechanical Assembly – Sub-assembly and Final Assembly
- Assist with wiring, cabling
- Independent work as well as team work
- Quality checks of all items
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 08:30- 17:00
With 1 hour for lunch break

Responsibilities
- To ensure packing lines are run efficiently to ensure daily targets are met.
- Effective supervision of tool changeovers with minimum disruption.
- Supervision of staff and identify any areas of training required.
- Ensure all relevant batch and quality paperwork is completed to a high standard.
