Mechanical Engineer
Mechanical Engineer required for a well-established manufacturer based in Benfleet, Essex. This is a full time, permanent position and will be based at their local site.
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance as well as preventative measures.
Hours: 06:00-14:30 Monday - Friday - Flexible working can be discussed at interview
Salary £35,000+ dependent on experience.
OT rate: x1.5
Duties (but not limited too):
- Collaborate with Operations and production, update on maintenance related issues.
- Maintain accurate records such as the record of maintenance and repair schedule.
- Perform mechanical preventative and corrective maintenance, including machine repairs, fault-finding, lifting mechanisms, waste systems, hydraulics and conveyor systems.
- Undertake and lead small improvement programs as and when required.
- Report maintenance downtime issues.
- Analyze mechanical and thermal devices to find solutions for repairs or innovations.
