Job Title: Laminating and Finishing Operative
Location: Ledbury
Pay Rate: £25,600 per annum

gap personnel Gloucester, acting as employment business, are recruiting for Multi Skilled Operatives ( Finishing and Laminating ) for a perm opportunity based in Ledbury, Gloucestershire. You will be part of a global supply chain providing printed and perforated film to the UK and Europe’s largest supermarket chains with some of the largest and most recognisable brands.
As a Laminating and Finishing Operative, you will work across the sites multiple production areas alongside other operators and effectively meet the requirements of the particular production area in which the work is taking place.
Main Duties :
- Good knowledge of operating machinery
- Visual inspection
- Laser marking, polishing and packaging parts
- To operate production lines safely following SOPs and SPLs. Undertake whatever duties are necessary to ensure the lines on your shift run to both capacity and within the quality and waste standards required by the Company.
- Always report any faulty equipment to your Team Leader and Engineering.
- Be prepared to move between primary machines / areas during the shift and support running through breaks and ensure an efficient handover at shift change.
Continental Rotational Shifts:
Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (rotate) Wednesday, Thursday
7am – 7pm / 7pm – 7am

- Labelling of boxes prior to despatch
- Able to work to own initiative but also as part of a team
Essential Skills

- Previously worked within a fast-paced production environment would be desirable
- Operating machinery and working with machinery is desirable but full training will be given
