Production Inspector
We are currently recruiting 10 Production Operator Inspectors to join their manufacturing company based in the Cardiff area.
Our client is a busy aircraft manufacturer. As such, they are looking to add new members of staff to their team. This role requires a high level of attention, accuracy and a previous working history in this role is desirable.
Contract: This is a temporary on-going position which could lead to permanent for the right candidates.
Salary: £11.00 per hour rising to £11.50 after probation. Time and a third shift premium paid for twilights and nights
Shifts: 38 hour week
- Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm /Friday 8am to 2pm
- Monday to Thursday 4pm to 2am Twilights
- Monday to Thursday 10.30pm to 8.30am Nights.
Requirements
- Able to read, interoperate and carry out technical work instructions
- Attention to detail and ability to complete detailed traceability requirements as part of the documentation process
- Identify parts with printed and/or electronic pictures
- Efficient and effective working – managing time to prioritise production deadlines
- Good interpersonal and communication skills – working with others to provide information they need to complete tasks and eliminate production delays
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Working flexibly and collaboratively across various departments and processes as required
- Sound literacy and numerical skills
Experience
- Previous experience or understanding of surface treatment processes
- Experience working with engineering/ visual / technical plans
- Experience working with tools, equipment and materials in a chemical environment
- Experience of inspection techniques including the operation of basic direct measurement equipment
- Experience working to quality standards within an aerospace manufacturing environment

Materials Testing Technician
Our client is a leading provider in construction materials testing that maintains the highest standards of excellence and customer care. We are currently recruiting for a Materials Testing Technician to join their team in Bangor on a temporary to permanent basis.
Pay & Working hours
- £10.50-£11.05 per hour
- 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday
Overtime:
- Mon-Sat OT at £14.50 per hour
- Sun OT at £18.50 per hour
Key activities will include:
- Carrying out laboratory testing to high standards of quality, safety and efficiency
- Ensure that records are kept and filed correctly to satisfy the requirements of the laboratory management system
- Checking, cleaning and maintaining test equipment
Desirable but not essential:
- C or above in GCSE Welsh or English, and Mathematics or Science
