Our client based in the Wrexham area is currently looking for a Quality Manager to join their team on a permanent basis to support one key customer account. The role will be responsible for managing all quality issues for said customer and to oversee quality standards to ensure the company delivers the highest quality products and service. The role will be working closely with the Site Quality Manager who will be responsible for looking after a separate customer base but both roles will work very closely together and will be a key part of the Operations Management Team.
Performance Objectives
- Liaising with key customer to resolve any perceived problems with products.
- RCA and full implementation of corrective actions.
- Establishing, implementing, and auditing quality standards.
- Monitoring quality testing and identifying gaps in the testing.
- Analysing quality assurance data.
- Driving a quality culture across the business.
Person Specification
- Must have strong managerial skills with a commitment to safety and quality.
- Essential to have worked at Quality Manager level previously ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and experience of working to BRC standard is critical to the role.
- Confident, assertive leader who can manage at all levels from peers and upwards.
- This role will involve managing a key customer closely where expectations are high and the person will need to not only be technically strong but also have the ability to communicate well and the ability to problem solve, find salutation and remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities
- To ensure packing lines are run efficiently to ensure daily targets are met.
- Effective supervision of tool changeovers with minimum disruption.
- Supervision of staff and identify any areas of training required.
