We are currently recruiting for a perm role- 2 x Spray Booth Operator based in Chepstow
Our client is a busy manufacturing company and as such, they are looking to add new members of staff to their team.
Contract: Perm
Shifts: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm
Salary: £ 25,767
As Spray Booth Operative you’ll take accountability for the day to day operation of our powder booth. You’ll ensure the effective and accurate operation of the plant from setting up and monitoring the booth, actioning colour changes. undertake quality checks to minimise waste and completing the relevant paperwork.
Responsibilities and Activities
· End to end set-up and monitor the spray booth including colour changes accurately and in accordance with standard operating and quality procedures.
· To analyse technical / quality problems with the process / product and implement solutions quickly and effectively.
· Schedule the work to maximise productivity and achieve quality requirements.
· To complete relevant paperwork in line with process;
To monitor and carry out all paint powder/consumable item stock control transactions via the ERP
Essential
Ability to demonstrate ability to follow standard operation and quality work instructions.
Competent level of IT literacy with MS applications including words, excel and outlook.
Ability to build, maintain effective working partnerships with internal stakeholders.
Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
A self‐motivated proactive approach to work with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Desirable
Previous experience of working in a similar role and able to demonstrate a thorough and practical understanding of the powder booth, the control panel and associated powder handling / recycling system.
Proficient in the use of MRP/ERP business operating systems. (Experience in use of Sage/SAP MRP/ERP operating system an advantage).
