Warehouse Operator
We are recruiting for a number of Warehouse Operatives for our client in Chepstow.
Our client is a busy manufacturing company and as such, they are looking to add new members of staff to their team.
As Warehouse Operative you’ll enjoy being a critical part of the team and work flexibly across a variety of activities with the primary focus of contributing towards the smooth running of the warehouse.
Shift pattern 1 - 45.5 hours per week between 06.00 and 16.00, Salary – £25,358
Shift pattern 2 - 40 hours per week 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm rotating, Salary – £22357
Responsibilities and Activities:
-Pick, check & pack orders ready for dispatch/production
-Accurately and safely load and unload wagons/deliveries ensuing deliveries are physically checked and booked in
-Accurately completing paperwork/records
-Assisting with the cycling counting/stocktake when required
-Practice good housekeeping to maintain the quality of materials and a safe working environment;
Requirements:
-Ability to follow standard operation instructions.
-High level of accuracy and attention to detail. – you’ll need to match drawings to extrude profiles.
-Basic level of IT literacy i.e. able to use email, use web based system for time and attendance.
-Ability to build, maintain effective working partnerships with colleagues – we’re a team and better when we work together!
-Self‐motivated proactive approach to work that is able to demonstrate initiative
This role does involves physical movement including lifting, bending, twisting and carrying with loads of up to 20kg as a core part of the role.

Materials Testing Technician
Our client is a leading provider in construction materials testing that maintains the highest standards of excellence and customer care. We are currently recruiting for a Materials Testing Technician to join their team in Bangor on a temporary to permanent basis.
Pay & Working hours
- £10.50-£11.05 per hour
- 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday
Overtime:
- Mon-Sat OT at £14.50 per hour
- Sun OT at £18.50 per hour
Key activities will include:
- Carrying out laboratory testing to high standards of quality, safety and efficiency
- Ensure that records are kept and filed correctly to satisfy the requirements of the laboratory management system
- Checking, cleaning and maintaining test equipment
Desirable but not essential:
- C or above in GCSE Welsh or English, and Mathematics or Science
- Driving license
