Job Title: Waste Operative with FLT Counterbalance License
Location: Ledbury
Pay Rate: £25 760 per year
Contract: Permanent
gap personnel Gloucester are recruiting for Waste Operatives with FLT Counterbalance License based in Ledbury, Gloucestershire. You will be part of a global supply chain providing printed and perforated film to the UK and Europe’s largest supermarket chains with some of the largest and most recognisable brands.
Main Duties as a Waste Operative with FLT Counterbalance License:
- Ensuring an efficient and effective approach to waste and material management
- Meeting the high standard of performance in the implementation and subsequent maintaining the depalletization process within our business
- Undertaking materials movement as requested or scheduled for the site
- Maintaining a high level of hygiene standards which are required across the site in line with BSI; BRC and other audit standards
- Meeting all safety requirements of the role in line with the Amcor safety standards.
- Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods
- Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules
- Treating materials and products with care and concern at all times
Candidate Requirements:
- Must be an experienced FLT drive and hold a current licence
- Experience in a fast-past storage and distribution environment
- A willingness to learn
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- An effective team player
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize
- Proactive and flexible approach
Continental Rotational Shifts:
- Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (rotate) Wednesday, Thursday
- 7am – 7pm / 7pm – 7am

Our client is a leading provider in construction materials testing that maintains the highest standards of excellence and customer care. We are currently recruiting for a Materials Testing Technician to join their team in Bangor on a temporary to permanent basis.
Pay & Working hours
- £10.50-£11.05 per hour
- 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday
Overtime:
- Mon-Sat OT at £14.50 per hour
- Sun OT at £18.50 per hour
Key activities will include:
- Carrying out laboratory testing to high standards of quality, safety and efficiency
- Ensure that records are kept and filed correctly to satisfy the requirements of the laboratory management system
- Checking, cleaning and maintaining test equipment
Desirable but not essential:
- C or above in GCSE Welsh or English, and Mathematics or Science
