We are looking for an experienced and organized Workshop Supervisor on behalf of our well established client in the Darwen area.
The successful candidate will have worked within an engineering environment and will involve overseeing the start to end process of products inclusive of welding, sheet metal work, assembly of items & press brake machines, the ideal candidate will have great communication, and organizational skills, people management skills as well as the ability to motivate and inspire their team.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise all workshop operations, ensuring high quality standards and timely delivery of all projects
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Ensure the efficient and effective use of materials, tools, and equipment
• Establish and adhere to h&s related procedures
• Maintain records of production, labor, and material costs
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Excellent engineering knowledge and experience
• Good organizational communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively manage personnel and resources.
• Understanding of safety requirements and experience in developing safe working procedures
• Effective multi-tasking skills
• Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Previous experience in an engineering related industry a plus
Salary: £28,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
Shift:
Immediate start available for the right candidate. This is an ongoing temporary position with the opportunity to go permanent.
