We are looking for Assembly Operatives to join our team working for an award-winning, international industrial oven manufacturer based in Sheffield S35.
Here is a little more information on the role...
Joining our team of assemblers, you will be working along a production line assembling and building high-powered ovens for use in restaurants and fast-food establishments all across the globe. You may be working directly on the lines building up to 90 units per day-or-you could be supporting the lines building up the parts required including cutting wires to length or building up motor units.
Full training is provided, although previous assembly experience is useful. The work is repetitive and a high attention to detail is required.
How much will you get paid as an Assembly Operative?
- £10.30 per hour rising to £11.74 per hour after 12 weeks

Joining our team of welders, you will be working with a busy, modern factory assisting with the building of high-powered ovens for use in restaurants and fast-food establishments all across the globe.
Your role includes fine welding of aluminium and stainless steel with a thickness of 0.8mm, and will be used to working within fine tolerances. You may also be grinding, finishing or polishing using hand tools as part of your day-to-day duties.
A high attention to detail is required and you will already be a proficient welder familiar with TIG welding.

About the role:
- Operating of finishing equipment producing finished labels in compliance with company operating procedures.
- Ensure machinery runs at maximum output, bearing in mind quality, machinery limitations and health and safety.
- Adopt a “pitstop” mentality to reduce change over times, fully utilize and organise press assistants and co-operate with staggered break times to increase runt time against downtime.
- Proactively manage presses to achieve the best quality levels ensuring that all paperwork is completed and up to date and ensures traceability.
- Ensure maximum material utilization and a reduction of wastage of all materials including inks.
- Ensure machine is left in a safe manner for your shift opposite and any issues communicated clearly.
- Co-operation with all company systems including health and safety, ISO9001, BRC accreditations and all paperwork systems.
- Detail all press specifications and technical details which are required to produce jobs
- Co-operate and participate in continual improvements to the press and wider company environment.
- Carry out general duties which may include packing, sheeting and any other duties that may be required.
