We are looking for experienced CNC Setter Operator (Miller) on behalf of our well established client within the aerospace industry based in Southend-on-sea on permanent basis.

 

Pay rate: 

  • Up to £13.97 per hour based on the experience

 

Working hours: 

  • Mon – Thurs: 08:00am – 05.00pm (30 min lunch)
  • Fri: 08.00am – 01.00pm (no lunch)

 

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Setting/operating and manufacturing the aerospace components following the engineering drawings within tight limits
  • Setting variety CNC machines according to the standards and requirements for the machine operators
  • Using variety of the spec measuring equipment
  • Filling the production paperwork correctly
  • Following the production plan

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years CNC Milling experience
  • Must have Sliding Head experience
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and set up CNC Milling machines
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment
  • Ability to use Metric and Imperial
  • Mazaak knowledge
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Attention to the details
  • High attention of the productivity and quality
  • Responsible for the action
