Job Title: FLT counterbalance stock controller
Location: Waterwells Business Park, Quedgeley, Gloucester
Pay Rate: £11 p/hr
Working Hours:
08:30– 17:00 Monday to Friday
Contract: Ongoing temp to perm basis
Gap personnel are proud to be working together with a company for mailing solutions or getting e-commerce orders. Our client is currently looking for 1 FLT counterbalance stock controller in an on-going temp to perm basis with overtime available.
Job Duties:
- Receive goods in and check operating standards, quality and appearance all match our inventory and stock control systems and databases
- Ensure all parts are physically located in the appropriate stores/racking location and the database updated accordingly
- Moving stock/pallets to the correct area for dispatching
- Ensure the stock taking process is followed and up to date, stock movements are processed, any damaged or redundant parts are removed from shelves and the database updated accordingly
- Utilize integrated systems and standards to enable all orders to be fulfilled to our customers, ensuring each item to undergo stringent quality control
- Ensure all orders, prioritizing selected customers to assist in delivery of business model
Ideal candidate:
- Have previous experience in a stock control position
- Safety Awareness in Manual Handling
- Ability to visually identify common faults
- Lift and handle heavy weights safely
- FLT Counterbalance license in date is required
Successful candidates will have experience working in production and will be willing to learn and develop skills. Willingness to work as part of the team is essential. Full Training is provided.

The Role
- You will be responsible for assembling of products for the healthcare sector
- Quality checking of products and completing necessary paperwork
- Work in the clean-room at the St.Asaph facility under the direction of the Manufacturing Manager and complying with all clean-room manufacturing standards
Responsibilities
- Assembly of products, following a set out process and be able to work as part of a team
- Ensure that the necessary controls are in place to manufacture parts in line with documentation and processes
- Ensure that the clean-room manufacturing area maintains GMP standards, ensuring your work areas are kept clean and clear to a high standard
- Liaise with the non clean-room operators to ensure controlled movement of raw materials and finished product from the clean-room to the packing area via the airlocks
Skills Required
- Previous assembly clean-room manufacturing is desirable
- ISO 13485 background (desirable) but not essential as full training will be given
- Able to work as a part of a small team and to follow instructions as required by the supervisory / management team
- Good communication and written English skills
- Confident completing paperwork accurately

Responsibilities
- Operates and performs adjustments to laboratory equipment and instruments
- Performs quantitative and qualitative analysis such as sampling, testing and measuring using specialised equipment
- Completes the compiling, analysing and interpreting of results
- Performs periodic equipment inspections and preventative maintenance work
- Troubleshoots test processes
- Calculates as well as prepares graphs and charts
- Prepares measurement and test equipment (e.g. instrumentation and functionality tests)
Essential Skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels
- Able to work well as part of team as well as individually
- Can follow instruction and work under supervision
- Scientific background – knowledge of microbiology & microbiological methods
- Able to perform calculations and prepare graphs
