Basic Pay Rate: £11.13ph
Overtime Rate: £16.70ph (+40 hrs)
gap personnel are currently recruiting for an Industrial Cleaner at TJ Morris’ all-purpose distribution centre located at Amesbury, Wiltshire, SP4.
You will be joining a privately owned, family run discount retailer selling top brands at the lowest possible price on the UK high street. The distribution centre is one of the companies most advanced and highly automated DC’s and covers a whopping 1,000,000sq.ft.
As an Industrial Cleaner you will be provided with all of the latest training to ensure that you can operate to your full potential, and to use non-hazardous cleaning chemicals. You have regular training sessions and progress reviews for continuous improvement within your job role.
Main responsibilities of an Industrial Cleaner include:
- Cleaning of kitchen, changing rooms and toilets
- Sweeping and moping the halls
- Hoovering the offices
Successful candidates will be a pro-active team worker, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.

Duties
- Packing sample / containers for distribution to customer or subcontractors via couriers and also receiving them.
- PH readings (training will be provided)
- Carrying out filtration of waste water samples.

Machine Operative

- Answering email queries in a timely manner
- Assisting the warehouse with system knowledge to ensure accurate picking.

Work involves operating machinery while following strict health & safety guidelines. Work can be repetitive and involve standing for long period of times.
