Job Role: Night Section Manager in Amesbury, SP4
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Section Manager for is a privately owned family run discount retailer selling top brands at the lowest possible price on the UK high street. Based at their large DC warehouse in Amesbury, the Warehouse Section Manager is fundamental to the day to day running of the site. The site itself is one of the most advanced and highly automated distribution centres in the UK and runs 24/7.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead and manage a warehouse team from the DC floor to ensure you maximise performance and achieve shift KPIs and standards
· Set and communicate team’s objectives during daily performance briefings, highlighting areas of focus
· Hold monthly 1-2-1s with each of the team members to review their performance levels, development needs and support in development activities
· Recruit, onboard and induct new team members and ensure their induction and H&S training is complete
· Ensure team are compliant with the H&S, warehouse & cleaning procedures, processes and quality standards
Ideal candidate:
· Demonstrate competence regarding understanding and applying the principles of Science, Maths and English, typically at a level of GCSE C and above
· Required to be computer literate, particularly with word processors, spreadsheets and databases
· Demonstrate good communication skills & able to communicate at all levels within the business
· Able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision as well as effective teamwork
· Consistently comply with company rules and procedures
· Ability to organise and plan work to meet achievable deadlines & targets
· Ability to manage and coach the team
· Ability to adapt to changes in working procedures and priorities
Experience Required:
2 years of warehouse supervisory/team leading experience.

5 out of 7 days rota on the 22:00 - 06:00 fixed shift (including weekends).
Annual Salary: £43,144.64
