Our client based in Wrexham area is currently recruiting a Warehouse Operations Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. As Warehouse Manager you must lead the entire operational activities of warehouse, inventory, logistics management in coordination with the Procurement/Supply Chain, Sales, Production and Finance Departments. In addition, as the role involves access and supervision to the entire area of the client premises, this role has the additional responsibility to carry out Health and Safety aspects as mentioned hereunder.
Performance Objective
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, delivery, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedure.
- Complies with the UK, European and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts, reconciling with data storage system. Yearly/half yearly physical verification of stock and reconciling variances against stock data in ERP/ Accounting software.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse & warehouse equipment by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Achieves financial objectives by controlling costs as per the given targets or an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.
- Effective Manpower planning, Manpower budgeting, optimal allocation of work aligned to warehousing requirements.
- Maintains warehouse staff by, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Proactive handling of customer requirements and from order picking to delivery as per the satisfaction of the customers.
- Liaise with other department managers to plan overall warehousing activity and daily delivery activity, sets quality standards and estimates timescales and costs.
- Preparation of reports, records as required by other related departments and management.
- Create and execute warehousing schedules, ensure equipment and resources are available to meet fluctuating demands.
- End to end activities in connection with Web store logistics, Handling customer return

Hours of work:
- 4on4off – 6am to 6pm/ 6pm to 6am
Duties Include:
- Unloading and loading containers
- Palletising products ready for despatch
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and organised at all times
- Completing any relevant paperwork
Required:
- Valid FLT Counterbalance licence
- Valid FLT Reach licence
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable
- Hard-working and willing to learn

Production Supervisor
My client is a family business and has been running a successful manufacturing business in the Ruthin area for over 60 years
Due to expansion within the business, they are now recruiting for a Produciton Supevisor to join their team
Duties
- Lead all maintenance processes and operations.
- · Maintain all machinery to ensure it is at working standards.
- · Create and implement maintenance schedules
- · Conduct regular inspections of the work equipment to proactively detect and resolve problems, as well as any areas requiring extra maintenance.
- · Plan and coordinate all repair and installation activities.
- · Performing on-site repairs
- · Respond to emergency calls for maintenance (weekend work will be required from time to time)
- · Discussing maintenance concerns with the General Manager.
- · Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
- · Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
- · Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.
- · Knowledge of Woodworking Industry machinery essential (WEING, WACO)
