    We are currently recruiting for warehouse operatives on behalf of our well established client in the Burnley area.

    The positions I am recruiting for a permanent positions. 

    Key Purpose of Post:

    To ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods and products to effectively support business operations whilst maintaining an excellent service to customers.

    Main Responsibilities of Post:

    • Complete tasks assigned by the management team accurately and efficiently, without compromising your own and your colleagues’ safety.

    • Present completed work to carriers, ensuring the product has sufficient packaging to avoid damage whilst in transit to the customer. This includes all processes from goods-in to loading trailers.

    • Follow safe systems of work for all processes and feedback to the Operations Process & Improvements Coach where new opportunities or changes are identified.

    • Strive to achieve and exceed individual productivity targets, as set by the management team, to contribute to the overall success of the company. 

    • Display positive workplace behaviour and use professional and respectful language when speaking with colleagues and members of the management team to help maintain positive working relationships and a positive working environment to all.

    • Maintain a high standard of Health & Safety in all aspects of work and ensure that designated work areas are kept clean, tidy and hazard free.

    • Report all issues, errors, accidents, incidents or near misses to a supervisor or Warehouse Manager in a timely manner.

    • Be flexible and adaptable to the changing needs and priorities as they occur, ensuring the successful completion of all work activity requested.

    The positin is working Monday to Friday 8am till 5pm. There may be overtime available during peak times. 

    The salary for this position is £21,840 per annum. 

    This position is a permnent position from day one, not a temporary ongoing poition.

    My client is a family business and has been running a successful manufacturing business in the  Ruthin area for over 60 years

    Due to expansion within the business, they are now recruiting for a Produciton Supevisor to join their team

     

    Duties

    • Lead all maintenance processes and operations.
    • · Maintain all machinery to ensure it is at working standards.
    • · Create and implement maintenance schedules
    • · Conduct regular inspections of the work equipment to proactively detect and resolve problems, as well as any areas requiring extra maintenance.
    • · Plan and coordinate all repair and installation activities.
    • · Performing on-site repairs
    • · Respond to emergency calls for maintenance (weekend work will be required from time to time)
    • · Discussing maintenance concerns with the General Manager.
    • · Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
    • · Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
    • · Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.
    • · Knowledge of Woodworking Industry machinery essential (WEING, WACO)

    • Background in Inspection Work and be able to work with machinery

    Hours of Work
