Our client is looking for a Warehouse Operative with Counterbalance licence.

Shift: 3 days on 3 days off
Location: Morley, Leeds(LS27)
Duties:
As a Warehouse Operative with a Counterbalance License, your primary role will be to support the efficient and smooth operation of warehouse activities, including the movement, storage, and handling of goods. Your responsibilities will involve operating a counterbalance forklift truck and performing various warehouse tasks to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
Forklift Operation: Safely operate a counterbalance forklift truck to load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while operating the forklift, including maintaining proper load balance, securing loads, and avoiding hazards.
Order Fulfillment: Receive incoming goods, compare them to purchase orders or manifests, and verify their accuracy and condition. Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to customer orders or organizational requirements.
Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control activities, including stock counting, cycle counting, and stock rotation. Update inventory records and ensure accurate stock levels within the warehouse management system.
Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free. Perform regular inspections of equipment, shelving, and storage areas, reporting any damages or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for quality and compliance with specifications. Identify and report any damaged, defective, or non-conforming items.
Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately complete paperwork, such as delivery notes, packing slips, and inventory logs. Maintain records of received and dispatched goods, ensuring documentation is complete and up-to-date.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe material handling practices, and compliance with warehouse safety procedures. Report any safety concerns or incidents to the appropriate supervisor.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other warehouse team members, supervisors, and logistics personnel to ensure efficient workflow, resolve issues, and achieve operational goals.
