Warehouse Operative

VNA & REACH DRIVERS REQUIRED

FIXED AM OR PM SHIFTS- B78 AREA

Monday to Friday fixed shifts 6-2pm or 2-10pm

£11.50ph and after 6pm £13.80ph- overtime rate £17.25ph.

Gap Personnel are working with a brand-new site based near the Birch Coppice Industrial Estate in Dordon. The bonus of a brand-new site is all the facilities, including a spacious canteen serving hot and cold food where you will be given a free meal per shift (all you have to do is order from the menu), modern facilities on site, free parking.

This is a genuine temp to perm role where there is potential for you to receive a permanent contract after 12 weeks on agency.

Hours & Pay:

There are 2 different shifts that we are offering.

1. Fixed Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00 = £11.50ph.
2. Fixed Monday to Friday 14:00-22:00 = £11.50ph + after 6pm = £13.80ph.
3. Overtime paid at = £17.25ph.

Job Details:

• Moving the stock around the warehouse for storage purposes.
• Operating Reach/VNA trucks.
• Loading and unloading stock from the lorries
• Placing packages on racking in the warehouse using Reach/VNA skills.

Additional details; -

• You need FLT Reach and/or VNA licenses to apply.
• Drugs and alcohol will be conducted on the assessment.
• Assessment will be completed on your first day- to check FLT driving skills. 
• Plenty of optional overtime available paid at £17.25ph.

Training Opportunities for FLT Driving offered here...

 This site is the largest supplier of IBA Materials, there are 25 trucks on site that deliver recycled products. They offer a full service for removal of any type of waste.

We are looking for x 3 candidates to start on our weekly rotating shifts 06:00-14:30/14:00-22:30 with the pay being £9.51ph plus over time rates. 

What will I be doing?

• Production line- sorting through aggregate, sorting metal and plastics into the correct containers.
• Shoveling waste into correct bins
• General tidying around work stations, and occasional spillages
• Scraping off waste that is passing through the machines using tools

You will be provided with full PPE such as:

• Gloves and goggles
• Jumpsuit to go over clothes
• Helmet

This client offers a permanent contract after 12 weeks, which will come with training benefits to further your experience and knowledge such as Forklift licences, Machine Operating etc. 

We will be holding a walk-about, so you can go see where you will be working and get to meet some of the staff

Farm Assistant required in Hackthorn, Lincoln LN2

This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys working outdoors. 

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00am - 16:00pm and every other weekend on a rota basis for a few hours in the morning

Pay: Paid weekly at £10 PH

General Tasks:

• General outdoor maintenance of the farm ie fixing fences, sheds etc. (Tool experience needed)
• Loading trailers on the farm with feed sacks and spreading the feed
• Rounding up livestock onto trailers
• Loading and unloading hay bales - heavy lifting involved 

We are looking for candidates that are comfortable with outdoor work, happy to work in a more physical role, reliable (as the animals need feeding) and flexible to work a few hours on alternating weekends.

FLT Counterbalance Drivers wanted!

Here at Gap Personnel, we are working with a site based in Burnaston, Derby. We are looking for x3 FLT Counterbalance Drivers who are looking for long term and wanting to expand their experience. This site is a large international car manufacturer.

Hours & Pay:

Working on a weekly rotation Monday-Friday, 05:30-14:30 one week then 15:00-00:00 the week after. You will be paid £11.71ph with overtime of £17.57ph on week days and Saturdays up to £23.42ph on Sundays. (Pay increases after 12 weeks)

Job Role:

• Loading and unloading trailers – Undercover into the main building
• Using FLT Trucks
• Loading and unloading parts from trucks and the warehouse
• Working to production targets to help with the production flow
• Moving parts around the warehouse.

Gap Personnel

We are now recruiting for 2 production welder vacancies at the UK’s largest manufacturer of large waste containers.

The site is based in Derby DE24 and is offering long term positions, some great onsite facilities, weekly pay and best of all there’s no working Fridays. (Long weekends every week)

Hours and payrate:

Shifts - Monday to Wednesday 07:00am-17:30pm and Thursday 07:00am-16:30pm (39 hours a week) with a payrate of £12.50ph

There is also some great overtime available (after a full 39 hour working week) paying at time and a half for week days and Saturday and Sundays paid at double time.

Job role:

• Measuring, cutting, and assembling metal
• Welding metal onto damaged skips
• Ensuring the work area is tidy for health and safety reasons
• Inspecting weld strength during and after the process

 Ideal candidate:

We are looking for candidates with some welding experience. However, there will be job specific training given.
