We’re recruiting for a well-known recycling company who has many recycling centres across the North West. We’re looking for candidates to support the general public at our local house waste recycling centres.

Full training is provided and excellent job opportunities to successful candidates who have excellent attendance and performance.

Duties will include;

• To assist with general public household waste
• To manage and identify certain waste and ensure they’re in the correct containers which are sign posted
• Manual handling – to offer support to the public with large items.
• To operate mechanical aids for heavier items
• Keep a clean and tidy yard, using cleaning equipment
• To follow and maintain H&S standards across the sites
• To support drivers with loading and offloading the skips/containers

Salary;

• Basic £10.62ph
• Weekly pay
• Excellent OT structure for hours worked over 40 per week

Working hours;

• Adhoc working hours
• To cover long term and short terms sickness/holidays – with opportunity for on going work for successful candidates
• Business operating hours Saturday – Friday (7days a week)
• 8hrs and 12hr shifts available between 8am-8pm (during April-Sept)
• 8am-5pm shift only (during Oct-Mar)

About the role:

Undertaking the safe operation of the Mobile Plant, you will be required to undertake sampling of waste as required by the MRF Code of Practice or Commercial Contracts and ensuring that material meets the desired quality specification through inspection prior to loading.

Offer:

You will be entitled to a company pension which pays 4.5% employer vs 4.5% employee, unless you opt out.
